Assinco recorded, at the end of December 2017, a jump in its net profit going from 203 million FCFA (326 424 million USD) in 2016 to 1.35 billion FCFA (2.26 million USD).
The turnover increased, meanwhile, by 30% from 13.57 billion FCFA (21.82 million USD) to 17.56 billion FCFA (29.38 million USD). The combined ratio improved by 4.36 points at 85.61%. The market share of the Gabonese insurer went from 13% in 2016 to 19% in 2017.
The company's capital is split between five main shareholders: BGFI Holding Corporation (60%), Delta Synergie (15%), Nahor Capital Investments (14%), Bossissi Finances (10%) and Harvest Time (1%).
