Public Investment Corporation (PIC), an organization that manages pension funds [4] in South Africa, has invested in Yalu, an insurtech specialized in life insurance.
This investment will enable PIC to sell, as of June 2018, bank loan-backed life insurance plans at advantageous prices. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed, though.
