Appointment of Saad Mered as CEO of Zurich Insurance Canada

Zurich Insurance has announced the appointment of Saad Mered as CEO of Zurich Insurance Canada. This appointment shall take effect on October 1, 2018. S. Mered will take over David Levinson and will report to Kathleen Savio, North American CEO of Zurich.

Saad Mered joined the group in 2008 as CEO of Zurich Middle East, then CEO of General Insurance for the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this appointment, S. Mered had been responsible for claims since 2004.
