According to statistics provided by The “Traffic Authority”, an institution specializing in the management of road safety [4] in Jordan, the number of deaths caused by road traffic crashes fell in 2017. From 750 deaths in 2016, it dropped to 685 a year later.
The total number of accidents which took place on the Jordanian roads has reached 150 226.
