A bill for better regulation of the insurance sector in Jordan

A draft bill regulating the insurance sector in Jordan has been published by the Central Bank in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply. It will be applied as soon as it is published in the Official Journal.

This law relates to insurance companies operating in Jordan. The objective is to establish better State control in order to protect the policyholders’ rights and guarantee the financial stability of insurance and reinsurance companies.

The bill is available [4] on the website of the Central Bank of Jordan.
