The Compagnie Algérienne des Assurances (CAAT) [4] has carried out a 25% increase in its share capital, from 16 billion DZD (133.4 million USD) to 20 billion dzd (166.8 million USD).
This transaction, which was achieved through the incorporation of 4 billion DZD (33.4 million USD), from the reserves, will enable the company to strengthen its financial base and consolidate its underwriting capacities for the coverage of major risks.
Second largest insurer of the market, the CAAT reported a turnover of 23 billion DZD (200.7 million USD) in 2017.
