According to Noor Takaful, health insurance rates in the UAE would rise from 6% to 8% in 2019. This increase is due to the inflation rate and to the new treatments included in list of benefits.
Health insurance accounts for approximately 50% of the total premiums underwritten by the company. The remaining premiums are split between life insurance (30%) and general insurance (20%).
