The French Insurance Federation (FFA) has published the second edition of the risk barometer for the insurance and reinsurance sector in France.
Like the previous year, cyber risks rank first. The multiplication of cyber-attacks [4] in 2018 has made insurers very sensitive to this kind of risk.
The growth of inequalities and social tensions ranks second. This risk has gained ground following the social events that have taken place in France since November 2018.
The risk of financial crisis is in third position followed by the risk of natural disasters linked to climate change.
Ranking fifth, the political risk becomes threatening with the Brexit [5] in March 2019 and the upcoming European elections in May 2019.
