A Boing pertaining to Ethiopian Airlines company crashed in the region of Bishoftu, shortly after take off. The crash claimed the lives of all 149 passengers and 8 crew members on board.
The flight ET 302 took off on Sunday at 8.38 am local time from Nairobi in Kenya. It lost contact with air traffic controllers only six minutes after takeoff. The crash was then annouced by the CEO of Ethiopian Airlines. He declared that «the pilot was facing difficulties … that he wanted to turn back» and that «he was granted permission» to fly back to Addis-Ababa.
The Boeing 737-800 MAX was delivered to the company in November 2018. Following this event, the company decided to ground the Boeing 737-800 MAX. The Chinese government has also urged the national companies to suspend the flights of the same Boeing type. Indonesia, South Korea, and Cayman Airways have also announced that all or part of their Boeing 737 MAX have been grounded [4] untill getting further information about the reliability of this type of aircrafts.
