The authority of prudential supervision and resolution (ACPR) has urged SCOR and Covéa to find an amicable solution to their conflict which has been lasting for months. Therefore, each party would have mandated a spokesperson to defend its interests.
According to "Le Monde", Augustin de Romanet, senior director of SCOR since April 27, 2017 would have been chosen by the reinsurer while the lawyer Antoine Gosset-Grainville from BDGS Associés would represent the insurance group.
As a reminder, Thierry Derez, CEO of Covéa, will appear in court on 24 June.
