Tesla: Towards the acquisition of an insurer

Tesla In early 2019, Tesla announced its intention to market, as of May of the current year, its own insurance policies.

The objective is to make the sale of vehicles more accessible as customers currently consider the insurance premiums to be excessively high. Unfortunately for the manufacturer, the project has been delayed.

At the annual shareholders' meeting held on June 11, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, explained that for the the project to be activated, the acquisition of an insurer would be necessary. The acquisition of an already registered and licensed company, would speed up the project which is slow to materialize.
