Jan 2015 The Vice-President of the Tunisian Federation of Insurance Companies (FTUSA), Lotfi Bezzarga announced on a radio interview, the upcoming 10% increase in the motor third party liability tariffs [4].
The latter shall be applicable starting from February,2015. It targets the individuals’ vehicles, the agricultural machines, the vehicles carrying goods and the motorcycles whose cylinder capacity does not exceed 50 cm3.
The guarantee extensions shall be lowered in order for the premium cost to remain the same for the insured who have subscribed to a complementary guarantee such as theft or fire.
