Great-West Lifeco to merge its brands

Great-West Lifeco [4] has merged its its three life insurance companies: The Great-West Life Assurance Company, London Life Ins and The Canada Life Assurance with its two holding companies: Canada Life Financial Corporation and London Insurance Group into one entity "The Canada Life Assurance Company".

The grouping process is expected to be completed by January 2020. This operation will allow to better meet the needs of customers and simplify the group's structure and activities.

The policies already marketed by the three insurance companies will remain in force. The offices of the various entities will also be retained. As a reminder, The Great-West Group has in 2017 a market share of 11.68% in Quebec and 25.03% in Canada.
