SONAR: A new motor assistance product

SONARThe Société Nationale d’Assurance et de Réassurance (SONAR [4]) is marketing a new motor assistance cover called "Top Assistance". The product that offers breakdown, towing, repatriation and the provision of a replacement vehicle is available in four forms as per the choice of the insured.

The cost of the coverage ranges from 5000 FCFA (8.45 USD)) to 50 000 FCFA (84.5 USD) depending on the formula chosen.

"Top Assistance" is currently operational only in Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso and on the road section connecting the two cities.
