The Mutuelle Agricole Marocaine d’Assurance (MAMDA) is planning to set up an investment fund to finance agricultural and agri-food projects in Morocco.
Endowed with a capital of 500 million MAD (52.2 million USD), this new structure targets medium-sized companies.
The agricultural sector plays an important role in the Moroccan economy. It accounts for 13% of GDP and employs 38% of the workforce.
