woman drives A study by the insurance comparator Assurland.com shows that the non-gender discrimination in relation to motor pricing does not favour women. This decision taken in December 2012 [4] by the European Parliament led to an average increase of 25% in the premiums’ tariffs of women over the past ten years against 13% for men.

Before December 31, 2012, with the same profile, men paid an average of 12% more than women. A young driver paid a premium 24% cheaper than her male counterpart.
