Guinea Insurance: share capital increase

Guinea InsuranceGuinea Insurance plans to increase its share capital by 8 billion NGN (11.1 million USD) to 12 billion NGN (33.3 million USD). The objective is to comply with the new regulation which will come into effect in June 2020.

The addition of 16 billion ordinary shares worth 50 kobo (0.126 USD) each was approved at Guinea Insurance's recent general meeting. This meeting also re-elected Ugochukwu as chairman of the board and appointed Samuel Onukwue and Simon Bolaji as non-executive directors. Finally, Ademola Abidogun's appointment as managing director/CEO of the company was ratified by the shareholders.
