MetLife - Walaa merger approved by the supervisory authority

The merger between MetLife AIG ANB and Walaa Cooperative Insurance [4] has been approved by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority. This merger has already received a favourable response from the General Authority for Competition (GAC).

Extraordinary general meetings would be held before the transaction is finalized. The merger should be approved by the shareholders and boards of directors of both companies.
