AXA is ceding its subsidiaries in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia to the Austrian group UNIQA Insurance. The sale covers all life, savings, property & casualty and pension business in Central and Eastern Europe.
The transaction, which shall be be finalised by the end of the fourth quarter 2020, amounts to 1.002 billion EUR (1.122 billion USD). It will not have a significant impact on the French group's net result.
