The Lebanese Ministry of Health reports that, as of 28 March 2020, there are 412 people infected with the coronavirus [4].
To contribute to the national solidarity movement, Lebanese insurers have decided to support the State by accepting to cover the treatment costs of their policyholders suffering from COVID-19.
In coordination with the Ministry of Health, the Lebanese Association of Insurance Companies, is committed to set up an effective mechanism to ensure the patients' coverage.
