CARTE group recorded a turnover of 185.8 million TND (66.3 million USD) in 2019, compared to 158.1 million TND (52.52 million USD) in 2018, that is an increase of 17.5% .
The net profit amounted to 19.6 million TND (7 million USD) compared to 15.2 million TND (5.05 million USD) a year earlier, recording a progress of 29% over one year.
CARTE Assurances, a non-life company, recorded the best performance in 2019 with 21.2% growth. The written premiums totalled 127.3 million TND (45.4 million USD) with a net result of 11.16 million TND (3.9 million USD). With a 10.2% increase in one year, CARTE Vie premiums rose from 53.159 million TND (17.6 million USD) in 2018, to 58.6 million TND (20.9 million USD) on 31 December 2019.
The life class of business registered a net profit of 8.57 million TND (3.05 million USD). The CARTE group has achieved a significant growth in its financial products which grew by 64% at 28.1 million TND by the end of 2019, against 17.2 million TND (5.7 million USD) a year before. The ROE before appropriation increased by 9% to reach 174.8 million TND (62.4 million USD).
