Sey Re: a new reinsurance company in the Seychelles

Seychelles Reinsurance Company Sey ReThe local supervisory authorities are to license a new reinsurance company, Seychelles Reinsurance Company (Sey Re).

The new company's share capital amounts to 2.4 million USD, which is the minimum amount set by the regulations. However, Sey Re is planning to increase this capital to 10 million USD.

The aim of this operation is to form a solid financial base enabling the reinsurer to retain more premiums.
