The Cameroonian insurance company Chanas has increased its capital to 6.05 billion FCFA (10.26 million USD).
The National Hydrocarbons Company (SNH) remains the major insurer’s shareholder which has significantly dominated the market in the recent years.
For the record, Chanas Assurances [4] was established from the portfolio of the former SOCAR, the first national insurance company founded in Cameroon.
