Hassen Khelifati, chairman and CEO of Alliance Assurances, has been appointed acting president of the Algerian Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (UAR).
He succeeds Brahim Djamel Kassali, former CEO of CAAR, who has recently been promoted Secretary General at the Ministry of Finance. Prior to this change, H. Khelifati was the first vice-president of the UAR.
He will, from now on, hold his new position until the end of his predecessor's mandate in 2022. However, an early general assembly might be held to designate a new president.
