Berkshire Hathaway [4] Specialty Insurance (BHSI) is introducing a new "Environmental Damage" product.
It is an environmental risk insurance policy that provides technical and legal support to facilitate pollution claim management.
The guarantee covers:
- The policyholder's sites,
- Services rendered off-site,
- Transport activities,
- Third party liability losses related to accidental or gradual environmental damage,
- Environmental liability,
- Clean-up and restoration costs,
- The insured’s sites decontamination costs,
- Emergency costs and business interruption.
