The Emirati supervisory authority has published a draft law regulating the licensing and control of tied insurance agents. The bill prohibits them from working with more than one insurance company and from operating on behalf of insurance brokers.
The new legislation also defines the function of the agent whose missions include: marketing the company's products and ensuring customer relations, always to the benefit of the company.
