TURK REThe new state-owned reinsurer Turk Re [4] recorded a turnover of 597 million TRY (87.05 million USD) in H1 2020. As at 30 June 2020, the net profit amounted to 29.6 million TRY (4.3 million USD).

According to Selva Eren, General Manager, the company's target for the very first year of existence is to exceed 1 billion TRY (145.8 million USD) in premiums.

Established on 6 September 2019 with the purpose of expanding the local market's capacity, Turk Re is endowed with a share capital of 600 million TRY (71.2 million USD).
