As at 30 September 2020, Bahrain Kuwait Insurance (BKIC) recorded a net profit of 3.1 million BHD (8.1 million USD) compared to 2.7 million BHD (7.1 million USD) a year earlier, an increase of 14.8% over one year. This growth is mainly due to the significant improvement in underwriting.
During the first nine months of 2020, the turnover increased by 15% to be set at 56.2 million BHD (148.1 million USD) compared to 48.9 million BHD (128.9 million USD) recorded at 30 September 2019. Meanwhile the insurer's assets decreased by 9.3% to be established at 223 million BHD (587.8 million USD).
The shareholder’s equity reached 40 million BHD (105.4 million USD): 2% higher than in 2019.
