The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC) has published the results of the Chinese life insurance market for the first eleven months of 2020. Life premiums amounted to 3 100 billion CNY (471.268 billion USD), an increase of 7.4% compared to the same period last year.
Life assets amounted to 20 000 billion CNY (3 040 billion USD) that is 85.5% of the total market.
The Chinese government plans to adopt a series of measures to promote life insurance in the country.
