The German reinsurer which is making Kuala Lumpur the basis of its regional expansion intends to control 20% of the takaful reinsurance market. In the Muslim countries of the Middle East and Asia, the takaful class of business whose turnover amounts to 3 billion USD, is witnessing an annual growth of 10%.
