The brokerage giant Aon is launching a fuel insurance product intended primarily for the marine and aviation sectors.
The broker's goal is to help companies protect themselves against rising fuel prices.
The solution would apply as soon as the price of fuel exceeds a certain predetermined threshold. The policy would then cover the difference between the agreed upon price and the highest market price.
