Omani insurance market: 2020 results

resultAll Omani insurers [4] listed on the stock exchange recorded a 43% increase in their net profit in 2020. The latter went from 24.6 million OMR (63.7 million USD) in 2019 to 35 million OMR (90.6 million USD) a year later.

This performance reflects the decline in the claims rate in 2020, particularly in the health and motor activities due to the lockdown.

National Life & General Insurance leads the way in terms of results with a net profit of 15 million OMR (38.8 million USD) at the end of 2020.
