The insurer Liberty Holdings is seeking to increase its stake in the capital of its Kenyan subsidiary Liberty Kenya Holdings.
The South African group is proposing to buy out the stakes held by the Conrad Hilton Foundation and the Coronation African Frontiers. Liberty Holdings' stake in the Kenyan entity will thus increase from 57.7% to 73.5%.
The transaction is yet to receive regulatory approval.
