Allianz Allianz wishing to expand on the North American non-life market is preparing a counter-offer for the takeover of Hartford Financial Services.

For the record, Chubb had already proposed the sum of 23.24 billion USD [4] for the redemption of the US insurer. The offer was, however, rejected by Hartford's Board of Directors.
