The Saudi supervisory authorities have imposed a Covid-19 insurance policy on foreign pilgrims. The coverage is limited to 650 000 SAR (173 300 USD).
The insurance includes treatment costs, quarantine costs set at 450 SAR (120 USD) per day for 14 days and repatriation costs reaching up to 6 500 SAR (1 733 USD) in case of death due to Covid-19.
