On 16 June 2021, the new president of the “Caisse Centrale de Réassurance” (CCR), Jacques Le Pape, presented the company's new strategic plan for 2021-2025.
The new roadmap is called "Protecting more and serving better", and was introduced at the group's annual conference on disaster risk management. It is a continuation of the company's actions since 2015 under the leadership of CEO Bertrand Labilloy and former chairman Pierre Blayau.
The plan is based on three main objectives for 2021-2025:
- Deepen CCR's involvement in natural risk prevention and contribute to an enhanced management of natural disasters
- Pursue the balanced development and transformation of CCR Re in order to strengthen its position on the international reinsurance market
- Consolidate CCR's expertise in the modelling and management of extreme risks and advise the State in the relevant matter.
