The Omani Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is setting up an online initiation program for payment services for "Dhamani" health insurance contracts. The initiative aims to prepare companies to use the digital platform, which is scheduled to start in September 2021.
The program includes medical coding, electronic fund transfer and investment opportunities.
The first session will begin on 27 July 2021. It is designed for insurance companies and third-party health insurance administrators.
The second session will be held on 2 August 2021. It targets private healthcare facilities. The third session will take place on 5 August 2021. It concerns IT companies.
Dhamani is an electronic platform for information exchange, claims settlement and fund transfer between Omani insurance companies [4], health organizations and supervisory and regulatory institutions.
