On the group's investor day, held on 8 September 2021, CEO Laurent Rousseau unveiled the new objectives of the "Quantum Leap [4]" strategic plan for the period up to 31 December 2022.
SCOR Global P&C, the Group's non-life activity, expects to grow its gross written premiums by 15% to 18% by 2022, with a maximum combined ratio of 95%.
SCOR Global Life is revising its net technical margin downwards (excluding the impact of Covid-19). The latter would move from 7.2% - 7.4%, mentioned in the Quantum Leap plan, to 8.2% - 8.4% in 2022.
The group's life business is forecasting a 1% gross written premium growth 1% in 2022. When it comes to investment, SCOR expects an annualized return on assets ranging between 1.8% and 2.3% in 2022.
The group's solvency ratio should reach the upper limit of optimal solvency (185%-220%) set by the Quantum Leap.
The group's next strategic plan will be revealed in March 2022.
