The Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) is keen on developing microinsurance [4] in the country.
To do so, IFE is calling on the microinsurance technical committee to introduce simplified products for low-income earners, informal workers and small and medium-sized enterprises.
The committee is also urged to promote microinsurance through digital channels, including online distribution of products, management of the premium collection process and online claim settlement.
