On 23 September 2021, Tobam* launched the first French fund approved by the Financial Markets Regulator (AMF) to invest in bitcoin [4].
This General Purpose Investment Fund (FIVG) is dedicated to insurance companies. It allocates a rate of assets capped at 10% to cryptocurrency as specified by the Pact law approved in 2019.
The product proposed to insurers is called "Tobam BTC-Linked and Blockchain Equity".
