Jan 2011 Alliance Assurances share has been successful in the stock market where it was subscribed at 140%. This performance is due to the infatuation of some individuals who subscribed 350% of the shares allotted to them. Banks and enterprises have, however, shunned the shares. Alliance is planning to raise 1.4 billion DZD (19 million USD). More than 1.8 million shares have been issued.
The company has strongly developed in 2009 reporting a turnover of 2.8 billion DZD (39.7 million USD). The net income increased from 206 million DZD (3 million USD) in 2008 to 312 million DZD (4.4 million USD) in 2009. The shareholders' equity has yielded a profitability of 39% in 2009.
