The African Trade Insurance Agency [4] (ATI) has welcomed two new African members, Senegal and Burkina Faso.
The two countries, with the support of the European Investment Bank (EIB), are contributing 15 million EUR (16.95 million USD) each to the ATI's capital. Senegal is thus the 20th African country to join the agency.
For its part, Burkina Faso has signed a participation agreement with the ATI regarding its membership in the agency. The finalization of this project still depends on the disbursement of 15 million EUR (16.95 million USD) by the EIB.
