AXA has finalized the sale of its Belgian banking activities to Crelan Banque. The transaction is worth 691 million EUR (782.8 million USD).
The sale includes the transfer of 100% of Crelan Insurance, valued at 80 million EUR (90.6 million USD), to AXA Belgium. The remaining 611 million EUR (692.2 million USD) are settled in cash.
The operation falls within the framework of the French group's simplification strategy.
