Guillaume Oreckin, 56, has been promoted to second executive vice-president of Crédit Agricole Assurances and general manager of Pacifica, the insurer's non-life subsidiary. He succeeds Thierry Langreney who retired on 30 September 2021. The appointment takes effect on 17 January 2022.
G. Oreckin is a graduate of HEC Paris and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. He started his career in 1990 in the insurance department of Sema Group. In 1992, he joined KPMG Peat Marwick and participated in the establishment of the insurance department.
G. Oreckin joined Crédit Agricole Assurances in 2007 where, in 14 years of experience, he has held various positions, most recently as Head of International Insurance.
