Following the Russian-Ukrainian invasion, the Generali group has decided to gradually withdraw from the Russian insurance market.
In order to do so, the insurer intends to close its representative office in Moscow and put an end to the activities of its subsidiary Europ Assistance in Russia.
Generali has also decided to leave the board of directors of Ingosstrakh, a Russian insurance company where it holds 38.5% of the capital.
