The Council of Health Insurance (CHI) has imposed 14 fines totaling 2 719 100 SAR (724 069 USD) on health insurance companies. This sanction follows the failure to comply with the laws, regulations and instructions of the board.
The supervisory authority has also initiated legal actions against the concerned Saudi insurers [4].
This decision is part of the CHI's ongoing efforts to ensure the highest level of compliance and standards to enable beneficiaries to easily obtain their full entitlements.
