Chedid Insurance Brokers Egypt, a subsidiary of Chedid Capital Holding, has been granted approval by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) to conduct brokerage activities in Egypt.
Farid Chedid, CEO of the Lebanese investment company, said Egypt is a strategic link between the group's African operations and its Middle East presence.
In 2021, Chedid Capital Holding acquired broker Ascoma to become one of the leading insurance brokers in West and Central Africa.
With offices in Lebanon, Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Cyprus and Mauritius, the Chedid Insurance Brokers Network employs over 300 people.
