The Roam (Réunion des organismes d'assurance mutuelle), has announced the launch of its own space in the metaverse. Dubbed "MetaRoam", the space became accessible to its 71 member mutual insurers on 4 July 2022.
Recognizing the importance of the metaverse as the relational channel of the future, Roam is embarking on this journey to introduce its members to the web of tomorrow. Once familiar with this ecosystem, companies could reflect on how to exploit the potential of the virtual world.
A study published by Citi (Global Investment Bank and Financial Services) estimated the potential of the metaverse to be between 8 000 and 12 000 billion USD by 2030, with 5 billion active users on the platform.
