According to the MPs' register of interests, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson received 276 130 GBP (326 400 USD) for a 30-minute speech and a 45-minute discussion session before the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers [4] in Colorado Springs, USA. In October 2022, the former minister had announced a remuneration of 150 000 USD which had already created a controversy.

The same register indicates that the working time performed during this assignment is 8:30 hours, which means that B. Johnson's hourly remuneration is 38 400 USD. It should also be noted that the transport and accommodation of B. Johnson and of two members of his staff were paid by a third party.
