The data analysis company GlobalData is expecting an average turnover increase of 5.9% for all Portuguese non-life insurers for the period between 2021 and 2026.
The premium volume would reach 7.6 billion EUR (9.3 billion USD) in 2026 against 5.7 billion EUR (6.8 billion USD) in 2021.
The sector's growth would depend on the evolution of the personal accident and health (PA&H), motor and third-party liability classes of business with respective market shares of 37%, 26.2% and 17.8%.
